With no carbon brushes， the Makita BL Brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life and delivers speeds up to 116 MPH air velocity and a full 459 CFM. The efficient brushless motor delivers up to 6，000 RPM for faster cutting with the string trimmer. The string trimmer is equipped with a high/low button for power and run time management. There is also a variable speed trigger， allowing users to match the speed to the application.
