Removes surface dirt， grease， and grime as well as softens the pipe surface to allow for a fast， secure， and permanent solvent weld. Not as aggressive as clear primer or purple primer. Purple tint allows positive verification that a primer has been used. Flows freely. Evaporates quickly. Apply at temperatures 40 deg. F. to 100 deg. F.
