The incredibly unique Corkscrew Willow displays a multitude of beautiful features prized in both landscapes and floral vase arrangements. The limbs grow upright in a twisting, contorted form that's distinctly highlighted in Winter once the foliage drops, allowing for this tree to add beauty in a landscape throughout the year. It has a wholly unique and sophisticated feel, with branches that seem to dance in the breeze. Lovely in all seasons, its quite difficult to match the rare form of the Corkscrew Willow. Corkscrew Willow, botanical name Salix Matsu dana Tortuosa, is suited to USDA zones 4-8 and reaches a height/spread of 30 ft. to 40 ft. As with most willows, the Corkscrew Willow Tree performs exceptionally well in wet soils and the spindly branches are highly valued in floral arrangements. For a touch of rarity and elegance, the Corkscrew Willow is an excellent addition to almost any landscape.
